ABOUT

We develop art projects, strategies and infrastructures in collaboration with artists, municipalities, museums, universities, architects and other partners.

Our projects grow from the contexts in which we work. Through research, conversation and close collaboration, we explore the histories, questions and relationships already present in a place or institution - and what artistic practice might bring to them.

The work can take many forms: an exhibition, a commission, a temporary intervention, a long-term programme, a publication, a seminar or a new organisational structure. We are interested in allowing the form to emerge from the questions at hand, rather than beginning with a predetermined outcome.

Across our work, we think of art as a way of opening things up: creating encounters, questioning established narratives and structures, and making space for other ways of seeing, knowing and being together.

Alongside commissioned projects, we initiate our own research, publications and collective structures, contributing to the wider conditions in which contemporary art is made, discussed and encountered

PRACTICE

Our practice sits between curating, research, strategy and artistic production.

Each project begins with a particular context and a set of questions. We work closely with artists and partners to develop the conditions a project needs — curatorially, institutionally and practically.

Across our work, we are interested in creating structures that allow for experimentation, disagreement, exchange and new forms of knowledge.
